Katari (Udaypur): Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has emphasized the need to hold Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal accountable for the government's performance over the past year. Speaking at the first district conference of NC Udaypur in Katari on Friday, Thapa urged citizens to question the Prime Minister's commitment to delivering results.

Thapa called for the Prime Minister to substantiate the government's presence through tangible outcomes, emphasizing the importance of a leader who acts rather than merely speaks. He reminded that PM Dahal had pledged to refrain from engaging in any inaugural or foundation stone-laying ceremonies until January 24 and committed to being actively involved in productive affairs throughout the day.

As a member of the ruling party, Thapa urged the NC leadership to demonstrate its commitment to effective governance, emphasizing the party's responsibility in ending corruption and establishing good governance. The call for accountability comes amid discussions about the government's performance and the need for concrete actions to address the country's challenges.
